A cemetery in the heart of the village center.

As the municipality is strongly committed to greening the village center, we have deliberately advocated for including the cemetery in this green transformation. Concretely, this means that the existing paving within the cemetery will be significantly reduced. Only the main paths will remain paved, while the secondary paths will disappear and be replaced by green areas. This creates a softer, more natural atmosphere within the cemetery.

The entrance areas of the cemetery will feature a gate-like effect, an architectural element that recurs throughout the village center. This not only enhances recognizability but also strengthens the sense of cohesion between the various public spaces. The main paths that remain paved will be finished in the same clay pavers used throughout the village center, establishing a visual and material connection that reinforces the integration of the cemetery into the heart of the village.

This new, green atmosphere makes the cemetery feel more like a park: a serene, pleasant place that blends naturally into the fabric of the village. In this way, the cemetery is no longer an isolated space but becomes a fully integrated part of life in the village center.
