Contemporary Landscape Design for a Future-Oriented Work Environment

For the upcoming new construction project of EMBUILD West Flanders, we were commissioned to design the surrounding landscape of the site. With a focus on simplicity, sustainability, and user experience, we developed a contemporary, minimalist concept that aligns with the architecture and meets the needs of its users.

The defining element in this design is the series of gently sloping lawn surfaces. These not only provide visual calm but also serve a functional role as infiltration zones, contributing to a climate-resilient layout of the site.
Integrated seating elements are nestled into the slopes, transforming the space into a welcoming place for rest and interaction among visitors and employees.

Paths meander through the greenery, adding a natural rhythm to the central plaza. Multi-stemmed trees provide structure, character, and a pleasant microclimate, while the interplay between paving and planting creates a vibrant and appealing outdoor space where relaxation, movement, and social connection coexist.

This thoughtful landscape design reinforces the identity of EMBUILD West Flanders and shapes a green, inviting environment that is ready for the future.
