The cemeteries of Putte are entering a new future. With respect for tradition and nature, they are being redesigned into green, serene places where farewell and remembrance take center stage.

In Beerzel, the cemetery will be transformed into a park-like environment, embedded in village life. Excessive paving will make way for lawns, trees, and hedges, giving the surroundings a calm and dignified appearance. In addition to greening the existing areas, a new ceremonial farewell garden, a columbarium garden, and a redesigned entrance with parking will be created.

The cemetery in Peulis will also undergo a thorough renewal. A new ceremonial farewell space will be developed here, directly connected to the scattering meadow and complemented by a columbarium wall that provides a dignified and uniform resting place for urns. This wall will also contribute to an intimate and sheltered atmosphere during moments of farewell.

The vision behind this masterplan is clear: to honor our loved ones in beautiful, harmonious gardens. Places where silence, contemplation, and connection are given space.
