Staden wood cemetery

A wood cemetery was designed for the municipality of Staden. 70% of the available land will be wooded. In the middle is an open and ecologically managed space where biodegradable urns can be buried. At the centre of this open space is a circular farewell and memorial area. Much attention was also paid to the entrance in this design. A dignified approach in the form of an entrance gate with a small front garden will command respect for this special place. All architectural elements will be executed in the same brick. Over time, these architectural elements will blend harmoniously into their natural surroundings.
